I have to agree that AMD does not look good in long term. All the current existing x86 systems would look outdated once the new Cyrix's 128-bit MXi hit street. It has been quite scary for me to witness how AMD priced their K6s to get orders from IBM and Compaq. I have been wondering how AMD could pay the bills for both FAB25 and the Germany FAB in the next two years with their current OEM offers.

This kind of crazy (AMD) OEM pricing is bringing down Intel earning much seriously than it would admit. You should expect the overpriced INTC crashed to 20s before 1998 is over.
