Greetings All:

Macworld has a new article about Iomega:

macworld.com:80/pages/december.97/News.4040.html

It is mostly old news. However, their take on the Noumai dispute is that it deals mainly with patent infringement.

Question for the veterans:
--------------------------

They say that in 1993 Noumai and Iomega were sued by Syquest because Noumai made and Iomega sold clones of Syquest's 44 megabyte and 88 megabyte disks. And, Syquest lost this case.

1. Is this true?

2. If so, how could we possibly win this lawsuit?

Mike
