USA Today is carrying a story that AT&T plans to invest in @Home AT&T, @Home near deal ANAHEIM, Calif. - AT&T is preparing to forge a potentially important relationship with the cable industry by investing $1.25 billion in @Home, a company that provides high-speed Internet service to personal computers via cable wires. Also Wednesday, Time Warner and US West Media Group said they will combine their high-speed Internet services.
