Hi jlallen; I think the situation for Steyn is considerably better than that. It's not enough for Mann to "prove" that he didn't manipulate data (even though proving such a thing is essentially impossible). He has to prove that Steyn did not believe that Mann manipulated the data but instead claimed he did maliciously. -- Carl
