BUT NO ONE EVER SAID IT WAS! That does not mean it can't effectively help people by using tax dollars.

I asked it twice. But whatever.

How is this a good thing?

But they can't and/or don't.

How does progressive taxation keep someone who isn't at the higher end of the income spectrum from saving?
