THE 13th ANNUAL MANILA’S BEST DRESSED AWARDS NIGHT It was a night of glamour and fashion as Manila’s society people converged once again in one of the most exciting event of the year, The 2012 Annual Manila’s Best Dressed Awards Night held yesterday, November 22, 2012 at the Grand Ballroom of Dusit Thani Hotel in Makati City. Kapamilya artist/model turned celebrity Phoemela Barranda and the dashing Steve Patrick hosted the 2 hour show. The night started with the announcement of four gorgeous women as the Style Ambassadors of the Year. They were philathropist and busineswoman Eimee Edralin Cragun. She was also a former beauty queen who represented the country in the Mrs. World Beauty pageant in Russia way back in 2008. The rest of the ladies are Pitang Tiongson, Baby de Jesus and Mache Torres.. Style Legends awardees are Dr. Vic Endriga and Mme. Imelda Romualdes Marcos represented by Ms. Ping Valencia. A sumptuous menu consists of Cream of Cauliflower with Shirmps, Beef Roulade with Bacon, Red Wine Sauce, Braised Red Cabbage and Buttered Parsley Potatoes, Lapu-lapu Fillet on Caper-Zucchinni Salsain Citrus White Wine Sauce, Garden Fresh Vegetables, Cheesecake with Honey Blueberry Sauce, Freshly Brewed Coffee and Assortment of Premium Teas was served to the guests. Entertainment was provided by Miss Saigon alumni Ima Castro. More special awards were handed out before the announcement of this year’s Best Dressed. Butch/Cris Albert and Emil David Ackerman/Mache Torres were named Best Dressed Couple of the Year. While the Hall of Famers of the Year was bestowed to Hon. Linabelle Ruth Villarica and Emil David Ackerman. This year’s manila’s best Dressed Awardess are the following: Hon. Mark Lapid - Former Pampanga Governor. Juan Carlo Calma - Architect and Space Planner. Rose Licup - Business Woman and Restaurateur. Elaine Villar - Realtor, Fastfood Chain Franchisee & Broadcast FM Network Owner. Lani Escolar - Educator and Montessori School Owner. Anna Sia - Businesswoman and Fashion Guru. Atty. Ma. Romela Mosqueda Bengson - Practicing Lawyer. Over-all Chairperson of this year’s edition of Manila’s best Dressed is non-other than Mr. Karr Marine. The show was directed by Mr. Ogee Atos. Noli A. Berioso and Melvin Sia.
