I don't know about you, but it kind of galls me when I see and read of folk who find some need to "protest" against those who are wealthy, and also have this ongoing reference and dreary debate about that "ever widening income gap" !!

It's almost as if someone, who has got rich, has to be, somehow, ashamed of that fact !!!

Unless someone has obtained his/her wealth as a result of unacceptably unlawful means, then why the hell should that individual feel guilty about it ... and furthermore what business is it of anyone to "protest" about the fact that someone is very wealthy.

More often than not that wealth was obtained through hard work, using a talent, getting a good education and putting that to work, etc..., etc...

Of course, great wealth can also be inherited. But that's just how the cookie sometimes crumbles. It's probably similar, in some respects, to Buffett's reference to the "Ovarian lottery"!!

So, ... apart from inheriting wealth, or obtaining it via illegal means, no one gave a currently wealthy person anything for nothing. They had to go out there and accumulate it for themselves ...

So maybe those who moan and protest about what wealthy people have and have accumulated, should do some research on the matter and try and learn how those wealthy people got there and do something about getting wealth for themselves. And that may, in some cases, also mean getting off their expanding rear ends ...

P.S. Let's not forget how many thousands of the VERY POOR, ALL OVER THE WORLD !!! would be far less well off, and where death rates would very likely be higher, if it wasn't for the generosity of the likes of billionaires such as Bill Gates and Warren Buffett, etc.., who have given MILLIONS OF THEIR OWN WEALTH and, in some cases, an enormous amount of their personal time in world wide travel etc, WHICH THEY WERE NOT OBLIGED TO DO, in order to improve the lives of others.

Talk about, in some cases, of looking a gift horse in the mouth !!! ..... Jeez
