Sherman,

I have been pounding the table on this Asia problem but was rudely ignored. There were more interest in NCAA Division III lawn bowling than a total meltdown in Korea. It looks like the street is finally ready to accept that we have a global economy, troubles in one side of the world cannot be ignored.

Having said that, I still think the worst is yet to come. No one really knows the impact as Asia heads into recession. Having live through the RTC/Savings and Loans crisis in the US, the banking problem in Asia may dwarf the US problem during the 80s. China is no doubt having major problems but is refusing to face reality and risk "losing face".

Just my 2 cents, I see no reason in buying any stocks, including QCOM, for the next few months. The price seems low today but will be lower tomorrow.
