I've been constantly saying things were bad in asia. The US market still isn't digesting the news. The retirement money is making all the fund managers think, "buy on the dips". It appears no one will notice until something REALLY, REALLY, bad happens. Maybe if the HK dollar separates from the US $ and the HK market drops 25% in value because of that, then maybe the US market will react.

I'm still short an S&P @ 966.70 (covered then went short last night). I will probably go long for a brief time if the sell-off is steep enough, since we already know what the fund managers are doing- buying on the dips. Afterall, aren't stock price drops in the US very temporary?

Maybe Greenspan was right. Maybe this is irrational exuberance.

I'm posting my S&P trades on the "futures (s&p trades)" link.
