"there is no evidence to support a belief in a god."

You are not a very good liar. First of all that is an absolute truth claim. There is all kinds of evidence to support not only belief in "a god" but powerful and convincing evidence that the Triune God of the bible is The GOD. For you to pretend there is none just demonstrates that you are completely dishonest.

"You try to make something of the fact that atheists do not assert any absolute knowledge that there is no god."

Well as long as you keep talking out of both sides of your mouth redefining Atheism as Agnosticism while at the same time making absolute assertions about your position, you're doing a fine job all by yourself.

"I cannot prove to you that unicorns do not exist."

Good for you. There's no one claiming they do except in your disorganized mind. Unicorns? That's your strongest argument is it?

I repeat Craig's point which you have not addressed.

many atheists admit freely that they cannot sustain such a burden of proof. So they try to shirk their epistemic responsibility by re-defining atheism so that it is no longer a view but just a psychological condition which as such makes no assertions. They are really closet agnostics who want to claim the mantle of atheism without shouldering its responsibilities.

This is disingenuous and still leaves us asking, “So is there a God or not?”
