Plastics...lol, the movie...I had a woman teacher that taught a special summer class about business, in, I think it was 1959...she showed us barter, specie, fiat, and a special newspaper...the WSJ.
She also told us plastics was the future, her family was making items out of fiberglass...the cf precursor.
She had each of us pick a plastics related company out of a list she'd made up, told us to watch it the rest of our lives..I choose Johns-Manville..they've had an interesting ride. That piqued my interest in the stock market.
Later on, I learned something that she had not taught us...about the friggin' crooks involved.
In any event, it's been interesting watching the last 55 years of change.
PS, they're still using horses and buggies, and using buggy whips....lol.
