How did you manage to get such a terrible price,
I thought you got out at 143? Selling to protect
a gain is never a mistake. I know somebody who
rode TXN way up this year...but did not take any
profits off t he table. That person probably does
not like TXN at all right now...and will eventually
dump it at or below where they started.
I personally dumped most of the rest of my
portfolio yesterday...now I can step back, relax and
wait for prices to come to be. And maybe we are
entering the era where cash is king? It could
really happen, my gosh, imagine if Yeltsin dies in
the next week, Korea continues their antics, and
US brokerage houses start announcing that you
should reallocate from 80% stocks to 60%. It will
be a bloodbath. Not to sound alarmest, but if you
had to guess when the big Kahuna started, maybe
yesterday was it!
