Do you want to live in a country where the church runs things. We did. They called it the Dark ages. Today we call it Iran or Saudi Arabia!

Boy, do you not get it. Mankind was never safe living without a society and from tyranny until democracy. Never, ever.

People banished from the tribe seldom lasted long alone in the wilds. The next threat was being killed or jailed by some dictator without due process i.e. without habeas corpus.

Democracy took care of both of those probems by providing a government by the people, for the people and you see that as an enemy.

So you have it 100% backwards. Get rid of democracy and you get rid of YOUR safety!!!

What we liberals keep trying to explain to you right wingers is the first order of business is to have a healthy and thriving society.

Your government/democracy protected you from Hitler and gave you habeas corpus.
