It should not go unnoticed that the largest shareholder in CYPR is Harvard University. The second largest shareholder is Paul Marangos, the CEO, and the third is Bernie Levine, who helped bring the company public. The company has had a checkered past in terms of its dealings with the financial community. Nevertheless, this is a company that has completed three phase two trials on CPC-111 and Ceresine. Paul Marangos has purposely kept the company small to conserve cash. There are only thirty plus employees. He has also purchased a collection of acute-care drugs that he believes will grow in sales, and, consequently, reduce the burn rate of the company.
