Jack restructuring the industrial departments means they are not delivering. I was a manager at GE for part of my career!! I agree with you assessment that GE is healthy, heck 40% of their earnings come from the financial side of the house and they do not have to disclose their bad loans..i.e. banking accounting. They got through the last recession without disclosing a lot of sins.

If these industrial departments are not delivering they will be on the chopping block. I suspect the jet engine boys are doing ok.
