Sirs,

I have been speaking with both Basillio and Consul Esono this week. Each is pressing buttons on different channels. Basillio is meeting with the Prime Minister at 9:00am on Friday. He is pressing for schedule setting to insure/assure our meeting as soon as possible. He did advise that his other sessions were going well and further advised that I now call him again Friday afternoon as he has another meeting set with the Minister and Minister Delegate (Transportation, Technology, Mails, Telecommunications) on Thursday afternoon his time. He stated that he expected to have a firm meeting set for no later than the week of 10 February.

Consul Esono has been communicating with E.G. Ambassador Maye, having forwarded my letters to the Minister and Prime minister to him. As the Ambassador did previously, he will also be contacting the Prime Minister and President Obiang to press forward as well. Consul Esono also stated the Ambassador does expect to have a firm schedule set soon for return for completion.

Also, I will be taking the three Primary Project Managers with me on this trip. The purpose of this is to formally introduce them to the parties they will be working with for project execution, and to insure no questions or concerns go unanswered. I will follow up with additional update no later than Monday.

I would lastly advise that I will be coordinating a three day stop in another Nation on my return, at their request, to discuss their communications needs and possible solutions. I am unable at this time to identify this country.
