I said: It would be very bad to underestimate Microsoft's research and development talent You asked: Why? Why? Because that's how other companies get crushed. MS can't make a decent broswer, right? Woops! Certainly they couldn't put together a viable workstation/server OS, right? Woops! I don't know where you've been for the last 20 years, but the last I heard, PC stands for "personal computer". You know what a personal computer is, don't you Robert? OK, is a quad-Pentium with a 20-GB RAID and 512MB memory a PC? Do you define a PC as "a computer one person uses", or as a class of machine? That's my question.
