AOL MarketDay Open Thurs., Dec. 11_______________ Live Market Commentary from Briefing.com 08:45 ET: And the beat goes on... Notable weakness in Asian markets last night with South Korean woes reverberating throughout the region... Kospi Index fell 5.7% as the won fell its 10% limit against the dollar for the third day... Nikkei dropped 2.6% while the Hang Seng plunged 5.5%... Closer to home, stocks are headed south at the open... S&P futures contract just off of its lows of the morning right now, and is -10.20 which suggests an 85-90 point decline in the Dow in early trading... Tech freefall will continue with Quantum and Kulicke & Soffa the newest entrants into the earnings warning circle... 30-yr bond +19/32 to yield 6.03% as flight-to-quality trade re-emerges... Also drawing support from a weaker than expected 0.2% gain in retail sales for November when the market was expecting a 0.5% increase.
