"I wish I could help you but some people are just stuck on STUPID."

At least you are being honest (nice change) about your inability to be a helpful person. But are you really "stuck"?Or are you just afraid of Reality and Reason??

"All the gods were invented in ignorance and fear, and remain for the same reason."

<<How could you possibly know that for certain?>>

It is not necessary to be certain. It is only requisite that one follow perceived facts and cogent rationalization where they honestly lead the sober mind. It has already been mentioned how little our senses perceive. It has also been said time and again that our knowledge is far from comprehensive. So why get hung up on certainty? That is another one of your infamous dodges.

In the same vein, it should not be necessary for me to qualify every statement I make as being merely our best knowledge and opinion to date. That is a given. And our best knowledge to date is that gods were invented in ignorance and fear. All the science and all of history and the other arts show how humans evolved and how we used imagination to fill the black hole of ignorance. Additionally, the dogmas of the thousands and thousands of creation stories and religious tales have been studied and found to be full of absurdities, contradictions, and primitive savagery. This is not a coin toss where a rational person can choose to believe or not to believe. A superstitious person who disrespects Reason can simply make a random choice to believe in one mythology and to disbelieve in the thousands and thousands of others. But a rational person must follow where Reason leads and state that none of the creation myths rationally hold together. They are stories--nothing more and nothing less.

"Still stuck on that vexing Unicorn problem are you".

You're being dippy now. Your assertion that the inability to disprove the existence of the imagined gods means they all must possibly be real is sheer nonsense. The unicorn analogy simply shows why one can never disprove the existence of something that is defined as capable of fooling every single representative of the human species. So your repeated claims that atheists cannot prove that god does not exist is really quite meaningless. There is no proof that he does, and no reason to ever give such a notion more than a shrug. No matter how much I quote the bible and show how it conflicts with reality as we know it to be from Science and history; And no matter how immoral and primitive I show god's favourite people to be--you will still have a dodge, and a dodge--and still yet another and another dodge.

And if that is all life means to you--a ridiculous game of dodging the truth....then make the most of that value system. I find it rather pathetic and you have my sympathy. And that will likely enrage you, but you need to deal with your own emotional wreckage...
