Welcome to an example of the late bronze age writings & human psyche , what do you think they were doing in northern europe which hardly had writing ,were probably practicing human sacrifice in the peat bogs.....or slitting each other's throats over in the desert hill regions of the middle east? They weren't practicing sacrifice there either? Those temples ran with rivers of blood, daily, you can be sure.
