Totally agree. My company is laying off employees in droves and replacing them with contractors. You know why? They don't want to pay for the increased costs of healthcare for employees anymore. Any time the government takes over an industry, the industry experiences distortions that result in rationing, higher costs, lower quality of service, and pissed off customers. When will Americans learn that there is no shortcut? Everyone needs to work for what they want. There is no such thing as a free lunch.
