But we were talking about PRIVATE insurance companies (not 'government').

It is entirely possible to have PRIVATE companies sitting on-top of monopoly or oligopoly economic situations, don't 'cha know....

(Remember your history? Standard Oil, Carnegie Steel, Hearst publications, etc., etc., etc.)
