Thanks much for sharing your analysis with us. I beleive your analysis may prove to be conservative. The quality of this thread is very mixed and you are one who is setting a higher standard.

News this morning indicates further trouble for CPQ ahead with its channel. CPQ is preparing to ut its channel by a factor of 10.

Also, more rumors of them purchasing either Unisys or DEC
for their service organizations. Thus the news from Microage about CPQ's channel stuffing is in fact a case of the channel fighting back.

Unfortunately, the market has difficulty discriminating between CPQ and DELL's business models. So expect short term problems until the market figures out what is going on. The ASIAN problems will be with us for sometime to come.
