I was skiing with my son. It was far more important to ensure he was having fun than that I get my quota of mogul runs. I have done plenty of slopes that are more vertical than horizontal. I used to be able to ski just fine on double diamond slopes.

If my son continues to enjoy the sport we will get back to the tough slopes eventually. Maybe the next time out we will have more people, then I can venture off on my own. In addition, I was teaching him how to ski right without being preachy. If they have a solid foundation growth comes much easier.
