The earliest life on earth, actual cells, not protocells whatever they are, are dated to about 3.5 M ya, not long after the earth's crust was stable enough (no longer hit by asteroids severe enough to strip off the planet's atmosphere) to support life. There wasn't a 2.5B year period for this to happen. one tiny golden age of prophecy right around the time Persian messiah Cyrus' liberation 600bc (surprise surprise) , the next 500yrs pretty much zero, nada.
