The Pebble essentially is a wristwatch. It isn't in a comparable category of wearable device any more than a Rolex or even an old sweater.

That leaves the Samsung Galaxy watch and "etc." It isn't that I think the Galaxy was rushed to market. I've never seen one. It is the reviewers. who uniformly make that observation.

It really doesn't matter that you have no source for your claim that the Samsung device or the Pebble device failed because they "represent yet another device to carry around." The functionality that both of those examples offer is substantially limited in comparison with mounting reports of what an Apple device will offer.
