I made that estimate off the top of my head. Apple has shipped 472B iPhones to date. Apple would need to sell 56M iWatches @ $300 each to gross $17B. So maybe 1 in 6 active users is what would be required to achieve that revenue figure, totally unrealistic IMO. I might project 20 million in year 1, certainly not 56 million.
