I don't need to waste my time on this. The global warming is different, that has political and economic consequences. Same with the people afraid of GMOs. But the people who are afraid of the very tiny amounts of radiation that reaches the US from Japan haven't banded together to do anything really stupid yet.

Now in Germany, they managed to close down some of their nuclear reactors. That was stupid. But it's the German's problem. If the Germans have problems finding enough power for their industry that's a good thing for my country. We compete with the Germans. Seeing them shoot themselves in the foot is no big deal for me.
