Nope, there is going to be very little overlap between Indian consumers who would consider buying an almost 4 year old iPhone 4 for $300 and one who is willing to buy a 5S for over $800.

This is for people who want the Apple brand but have no chance at affording the top of the line prices. They will have to make a substantial sacrifice in terms of specs to get the brand. They arent going to grab the top slot in terms of share, but this dramatically expands their TAM in a place like India.
