The 50 (or so) Analysts that Yahoo tracks ( finance.yahoo.com ) are estimating that
Apple will earn more in the current Fiscal Year than last and more in the year after that.
These people make their living this way, do you? They go out and visit the supply chain and talk to
the Apple management, do you? The fact that so many analysts see things this way tells me that an
earnings contraction in the near future is a possibility but is NOT Probable and isn't even likely.

These same people expected $55 in earnings during FY2013.

While analysts work has value, picking the turn is very very hard. I doubt that the analyst consensus will be see a dramatic downturn in earnings before Apple itself projects it.
