From the comments section of today's article:

I contacted CLNE this morning as a shareholder. Just got this excellent but short response:

Hi Kris,
The author of the seeking alpha article starts it off with the disclaimer that he is short CLNE so clearly he has an agenda in pushing the stock price down. He then basically just regurgitated the bearish piper note from October, but seems to have spooked short term retail investors. He does not know what we know and does not have visibility into the customer pipeline like we do to understand that these earlier fleets are still in their testing phase. It’s just unfortunate that he can cause so much damage with such little insight.
Here is a list of top 5 things the guy has wrong.
The things that jump out at me are: (1) underestimates cost and complexity of fast fill CNG at remote locations on interstate – not just about gas availability but power too, (2) no discussion whatsoever of weight penalty on those long distance CNG trucks, (3) takes an incredibly small sample size of trucks deployed and extrapolates to mature market, (4) vastly overstates cost of L/CNG modifications, (5) Provides no basis for statement that L/CNG will be prohibitively more expensive than CNG available “on the next off ramp”…….

It is incredibly frustrating that one person with a computer and a blog can do so much damage. Having said that we are still the largest provider of CNG & LNG and we truly believe we are on the right path.
