I did a long walk early one morning along the intracoastal in the land of Romney's 47% blunder a/k/a Boca Raton recently, Was shocked how many new mega McMansions have been going up of late. Most of these homes were originally built during the 1950's and 60's as modest ranch homes yet seemed to me less than 10% of the lots still have the original home on it. Is quite amazing you had Reaganomics 84-89' boom, Ownership Society boom 99-06' and now QE boom 12-1?' totally remaking the housing stock where the plutocrats live and play in one of their many homes in just 30 years. Guess this ends as they always do, last ones in get hosed. But we need the yield curve to flatten before we get to that point?
