Would you commit a degenerate act such as murder if you knew with a certainty that you would be banished to live with your own kind? Where you knew you could never again sleep in peace because others of a similar bent would have your throat before morning? Where no guards would protect you? Where you slept in your own shit and did the bidding of those more vile (even) than you? I think not! "Are you some sort of Barbarian or do you just celebrate evil?" How does banishing the barbarians from my society equate to celebrating their values??
