OT.

This morning, I'm researching display companies, especially OLED. UDC has tons of patents that will make them money regardless of whether iOS or Android devices incorporate more OLED displays. LG is rumored to be making a deal with Apple for the iWatch displays. This would generate some revenue for UDC, but I'm wondering what they're ideal scenario would be, i.e., if they could pick and choose what deals are made, what scenario would benefit them most? Are you (or anyone else reading this) familiar enough with the display maker interactions with mobile device makers to shed some light on this situation? Thanks!

I dont understand your question. UDC licenses display manufacturers and has a short-term deal with LG Display to supply materials/IP. Presumably, LG Display will supply Apple with the flexible OLED's for the iWatch.

The iWatch isnt going to drive much in the way of display area. It will be the new television fab that LG Display is building that gets UDC a long-term license agreement.

More interesting to me is what happens with flexible displays in the smartphone/tablet space. Both LG and Samsung are moving fast in this direction and it is potentially the most disruptive hardware innovation to the iPhone.
