As for portugues, well they certainly have wandered from the pure latin, haven't they, it's as if they got invaded by more africanos than just moros, every seventh word is spelt and/or pronounced quite differently or has an entirely distinct meaning, making it quite difficult for those of us who have small spanish, and less greek ... although, i fancy i'm better at several things to do with syntax than is google translate, still that's only expression of the dwindling superiority of man over machine
