I do keep up with Watt, but the others I hadn't hear of before.

The thing that worries me the most is that it does not matter how demonstrably wrong the AGW folks are, they are not affected by contradictions and outright fallacies.. As much as they mock those who believe in the invisible friend or God, they have faith in scientists. If they had faith in science we would be ok, but what the "scientists" are practicing is so far removed from the scientific method that it can best be described as a cross between propaganda and sermonizing.

We are basically in the middle of a religious war and we are trying to fight the faithful with logic and facts.

Science says that we don't have to prove that we are right. All that we have to do is prove that they are wrong. And it can be just one little thing, but if it's proven, they have to start over.

It has been proven that the input data has been manipulated to get the desired results. it has been proven that the "scientists" defied the spirit of "peer review" by not only having peers try to prove them right (scientific method would have the peer looking for flaws and trying to break the theories and models), but they also actively worked to silence others who disagreed with them. And we the models on which all of the doomsday panic are based, have been proven to fall apart just 10 years after they were presented to the world. The fact is, a coin toss has better predictive value than the AGW models.

Of course, there is much more that has been proven to be wrong and the faithful have not been swayed. There is not one pro-AGW person who posts on this thread who has become even fractionally less faithful.

The liberal progressives have adopted the muslim model where politics and religion are so intertwined as to be indistinguishable.

I'll be honest, I am less interested in proving AGW wrong anymore. I don't see how anymore datapoints are needed for that.

I am far more interested in helping people to understand that we are in a religious war and that the tactics we are using will never work. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to fight against religious fanatics.

We've already seen that these religious fanatics are willing to effectively blow up our economy and culture. They've done more damage to western culture than 100 planes full of of muslim fanatics could do.

We have not accurately defined what our enemy really is.
We haven't even really defined them as the enemy yet
Since we don't understand that we are in a religious war, we have no meaningful strategy to win the war.
And our tactics have proven to be ineffective at best.

AGW is one of the pillars of liberal progressivism. I think that this is an essential message that we all need to understand.
