Over 90% of the people on the old Gold Price Monitor Thread from the late 90s are no longer around....There's no need to look at your portfolio every day. The cancer patient focuses on the day he will be healed. That's how he get's through the treatment. In like manner, just be prepared for the beautiful gains that are coming and know when to move on and sell. We are in the very early stages of an equity bear market. Eventually, that bear will catch up to the miners too. But not before new all time highs (and then some) are reached for the POG and the Miners. Buy and hold is a fools game here unless, of course, you like moving around in circles, getting nowhere.
