| You are absolutely right. Sports and honest competition puts racism, religion, and every other artificial separation of people into their well deserved doggy houses. But even here, the politicians stick their filthy fingers.
So far so good, Winter Olympics were really almost dead & dying into Lake Placid in the 1970's, this one has been really exciting, winning some events measured in hundreth's of a second. All the preparation, the entire metaphor of human life can be seen in one giant run down hill or launching off into a huge jumps into the air or elegant art & gymnastics on the ice dancing. NO SUPERNATURAL here....just hard work, perparing & knowing their bodies.
California came thru, Jamie Anderson from Tahoe made the run of her life, jumping huge but smooth and graceful taking Gold in the Womens Slopestyle, they hit big air, watch the women fly.
