OT and perhaps I shouldn't... I don't quite understand the tendency of lower income Americans to vote Republican. Isn't that the 1%-screw-the-little-guy party? Is it because everyone in lower income brackets is sold on the "do it yourself, we don't need no stinking government and their social services and support" American dream? Or is it because there's only two parties and if you're poor socially conservative you're forced to vote for economic pro-rich?

Or maybe I am incorrectly generalizing. :) Sorry then. :)
