Technically GM did indeed go bankrupt. But they received a ginormous infusion of taxpayer cash that basically relieved them of all their liabilities thanks in part to unions.

It is my argument that GM would have survived without the taxpayer bailout. That's up for debate, of course, but only from people who know WTF they're talking. You don't seem like one of them.

As for Romney, I supported him in 2008 over McCain, and I supported him in 2012 over the other GOP candidates, with Ron Paul being a close second. Romney is a great businessman, a great family man, and a good governor with real leadership experience. He would have made a fine president, but unfortunately the public doesn't like self-made multi-millionaires these days.
