Before you license these sweet little possum things you should know that possums have very nasty teeth. Apparently their teeth are really dirty, too, lots of bacteria, so possum bites are bound to get infected. I learned this from an animal control officer. Up close and personal they are also rather nasty looking in the opinion of many people, that long hairless tail I guess. Although that shouldn't put Janice off as she can just think of them as giant ratlings.
