Dear VMS Ventures and North American Nickel Followers,
A few items to share with you today.
First, it was quite a scene at the January 29 th Core Shack at this year’s Association for Mineral Exploration B.C. “Round Up” conference in Vancouver. Round Up is a more technical conference and traditionally draws geologists, scientists and the mining world’s technical players of all types to meet, talk, deal and learn.
It was a big complement to our team (and NAN’s Maniitsoq project) to have been asked by the conference’s organizing committee to display our high grade nickel sulphide core from S.W. Greenland. I cannot replicate the action (no video), but I can pass along that all our Geos were hoarse at the end of the day, because as they told me “the line ups were 2 and 3 deep all day and we just did not get a break”. I can report geologists visiting our display who saw me later at our social function that they had never seen nickel sulphide core like that in their lives…and, they were excited.
We have included a photo of the guys at the booth and some good pictures of the really high grade stuff (you can magnify it in your computer). It was a very exciting and rewarding day for the Geological team. Congratulations, guys.
While I am on the topic of that high grade core, we will be bringing it to what has turned into our annual PDAC Wine and Cheese evening . The Geo and management teams and the nickel drill core will be at the Intercontinental Hotel in Toronto, Monday March 6th between 6:00 and 8:00 pm. We will remind you closer to the event, but if you plan on attending PDAC or live in the Toronto area, we would love to see you and show you our core.
