Probably by design by the plutocrats to divided the sheep rather than focus on the real enemy or personal empowerment. Focus on the social issues like guns, gays, god, abortion, the black man is robbing you blind on the right..yada yada. .. The right tells you the left are socialist wealth redistributors yet you and I know wealth disparity is the greatest in liberal enclaves like SF and Boston while the red deep south has far less wealth disparity and a better chance for the working man to get ahead these days. Left tells you they care for and protect the working man meanwhile your costs go through the roof if you actually have to work for a living with anything they touch be it housing, education, health care, insurance...
