Well, Pairgain has had dominant market share so they are going to lose some naturally as the laws of market share are that if you dominate and other companies like Adtran and ADC Telecom are growing, you have to lose some. Pairgain has said that a high proportion of their customers aren't interested in looking at new technology and next-generation stuff (as Adtran claims), PAIR says their customers want to make sure whatever they buy is compatible with what they already have.

Its like trying to catch a falling knife but I bought some PAIR today.
