In the end most people in thre United States who had savings in banks did get them back after the bank closings of the 1930s. Let's hope that government sees that the lady in the picture isn't done out of everything.

As I read the original message, the "tough love" was for banks themselves and perhaps for some of their officers. A highly paid person who mismanages an institution should not be kept on at a high salary. But it often happens
