Knowing many law enforcement people locally for my whole life, I will not and cannot believe local police officers, arriving at the elementary school with shooting continuing, would not rush in and do something.
You know squat....... The SWAT teams (and there were more than one) didn't enter Columbine for at least 45 minutes after the shooting stopped...

The principal and a couple of teachers rushed into the room at Sandy Hook when the shooting started.....they died there...
