<<That's nonsensical. And I don't think you would live your private life that way. If you had the choice to die of cancer or lose a leg, I bet you'd choose to lose the leg.>>

Actually, my first wife had a choice similar to that and she chose not to have her foot amputated when gangrene set in. It was her life and she chose Quality of Life above everything else.

Now, to be sure, there were other complications too. But I respected her decision and made sure the Fascist GreedyPhysicians honored her wishes.

Other than an individual's healthcare choice, that's a very poor analogy that has no relevance to voting for a candidate. But maybe that's what the political process has become: you either vote for a crappy Republican or you vote most likely for a half crappy Democratic. Nice choice?

I rebel from crap whether it is pure crap or part crap. Otherwise you become crap.

You know what I mean here. For example, I once had a student who told me he banged a slut. I smiled and said, "how on earth can you bang a slut without becoming one yourself? How do you come out of this looking like the Virgin Mary?

<<If two children were in danger of drowning, and you could not save both, I bet you'd try to save one.>>

My mother once told that she had a nightmare where she was only able to save one of her three sons and she chose me. It didn't make me feel very good since my two other brothers would be dead.

You sure have a nice flair for the dramatic.

It is sorry state for the Democratic Party when the best arguments you can put up involve less killing.

When I see a liberal or someone genuinely from the Left, I'll be sure to vote for him/her. But Hillary and Obama are far from that.

No choice is a choice. By not voting for Obama or Romney, I said FU to both.
