The modem handles four static IP addresseses at 10 mbs. That is 40 mbs throughput. I use 10 base T ethernet which connects to the modem. Wow. But perhaps you should get a 100 Base T NIC to connect to the modem? - same ballpark price. What UART do you have in your PC? 16750 may be needed instead of 16550.
