I hate to tell you this, but you do not see him at all. You think you do, but your perception of him is a caricature made up in your mind.
I know there is a 99% probability you will disregard this post. But I'll tell you what you need to do. Exactly!!
Go out and find the smartest people on earth you can think of and read them and read them and read them.
I'll give you a few to start with: Bertrand Russell (auto biography (three volumes he lived to 96) , biographies of Albert Einstein, Thomas Mann's books, Herman Hessa's books, Alfred North whitehead, Aldous Huxley, Nietzsche, Marshall McLuhan (he is really interpreting James Joyce), The Republic by Plato, to Kill a Mockingbird, the Stranger by Camus and Tin Drum by Gunther Grass.
You read all of those book and when you are done you will be transformed from a caterpillar into a butterfly.
Your choice!
Within two years you will transform yourself into someone you will not even recognize.
