Did anyone on this thread post about the film AUGUST IN AUSAGE COUNTY ? If so I missed it. AND yesterday in the depth of my own emotional state which is not good as I have to put my dog of 15 years to sleep and my friend who celebrated her 80th birthday in the hospital in ICU.... I saw this film. Although the acting we superb although I think Meryl Streep over played the role it was one of the most upsetting films I have ever seen. It just shook me to the core and I could not wait for it to be over.Entertainment ? NO. I came out unable to eat and just wanting to get home to the security of surroundings which give me comfort. Who is Afraid of Virginia Woolf was similar and I disliked it to. But that was long ago when I was more emotionally stable. HAS ANYONE SEEN THIS FILM AND YOUR OPINION APPRECIATED.
